Robert was raised up and hunted all
of his life in the Sabine, Angelina, and Neches River bottoms.
During the
off season, if there is one for Robert, you will find him in his boat either on
the lake
catching catfish or running the rivers with his hog dogs scouting and
baying hogs.
But during deer season, Robert is
right here in these East Texas Deer woods trying to "bust a cap"
on an East
Texas Whitetail with his Browning 243 super short. Robert says that the
only thing that
smells better than burning gunpowder is the smell of fresh backstrap and gravy.
Robert practices good management
principals when harvesting white-tailed deer. He calls it a
"Cull Buck
Program" and really likes to take out the management bucks that have poor
breeding genetics.
Robert is also in the process of developing a great
piece of property here in East Texas
"Sanders Creek Hunting Club".
Robert's hunting and management skills have proven him to
be an excellent hunter
and hunting guide.
